INVESTMENT INCENTIVES SHOULD BE INCREASED
With its contribution to the national economy, Torbali is often mentioned throughout the country. Torbalı, whose exports are even higher than big cities like Trabzon and Eskişehir and with a tax collection amount of 45 Billion TL is on the list of ARCI with 9 companies. Home to many world-renowned brands and companies, Torbalı continues to increase its fame with its largest companies representatives worldwide. TCC President Olgun stated that they experienced the sadness of being on the list with only few companies for the first time. Olgun said “
Firms in our district were increasing both their production and sales every year. But this year we experienced a decline. In order to make the success of our district permanent, special investment incentives should be brought to our district. Investment incentives in general should also be increased in the country. As Torbalı, our companies were affected during the pandemic period, especially in the second quarter of this year. In this period, only our exporters survived and continue to survive with the least damage due to the advantage of exchange rates.
We need to adopt an economy based on agriculture and production in the country.”.
