The board of directors of the Chamber are elected for four years. It consists of; five members if the council members are below than twenty people, seven members if it’s between twenty and twenty nine, nine members if it’s between thirty and thirty nine, eleven members if it’s forty and above. The council elects the chairman, principal and substitute members of the Board of Directors from among its members in a single list. The Board of Directors elects one or two deputy chairmen and one accountant for four years from among its members. Those who have served as chairman of the board of directors for two consecutive terms cannot be re-elected to the same post unless two electoral terms have passed. The chairman and members of the board of directors of a chamber may not serve in the assembly of another chamber or exchange. The agenda of the meeting is determined by the chairman or the deputy chairman authorized by him in his absence. In addition, with the application of at least one third of the members of the Board of Directors, a new article shall be added to the agenda until the meeting starts. If necessary, the board of directors of the chamber may delegate some of its powers to the chairman, one or more of its members or to the general secretary.
